Pony Black needles are made from oxidized high-carbon steel with a matte black, non-reflective coating. They contain absolutely no nickel, chromium, or other metals besides iron and carbon, making them safe for stitchers with metal sensitivities. The glare-free finish is easier on the eyes during long stitching sessions, and the high-contrast eyes (white, black, or color-coded by size) make threading simple.
