Another thread I use a lot of I just like the looks of it. I order the ten yard skeins whenever I can, twice the thread but not double the price. Anita has a great price on these.

Our smocking guild chapter was introduced to these little marvels in one of our workshops by our instructor of owner of Heirloom Beginnings. We were learning the art of making bullion roses. The guards provided a great shield and aid when creating this knotted stitch.
