My kitchen is all chickens so I love the pattern by Brenda Gervais, Hickety Pickety, which feel it will go very well with all my other chickens. I love this site to buy all my needed supplies needed for patterns I have bought.

I do a lot of cross stitch samplers and have found they have everything I need. I especially love the John James petite size 28 gold needles which are sometimes hard to find. I'm allergic to nickle so I have to be careful to only use the gold needles.

Never thought of doing embroidery or cross stitch with this thread, but I want to say that I have done tatting with the 30wt thread and LOVE IT!
It tats beautifully, about the same size as DMC Cordonnet Special #100. Colors are gorgeous and I get many complements on the pieces I have made with this thread. No one can believe that it's quilting thread! :-)
