These are a great pair of scissors. Really fine blades that allow you to cut Stumpwork close to the stitches without snipping the threads. I like the curved blade.

I didn't realise that needles could make such a difference in my embroidery experience until I tried Bohins. I've been using them steadily for over 10 years.

Recently, I was helping a new stitcher with some surface embroidery and she had some new needles, but they kept dragging in the fabric. I gave her a fairly well-used Bohin and the difference was immediate. The Bohin went through fabric like a hot knife through butter. If you've never tried them, do yourself a favour and check these out.

I needed a pair of smallish, not overly expensive embroidery scissors to put in the embroiedery kit that I take with me when I stitch away from home. I normally use Dovo scissors, but don't take them out of the house because they're expensive. I came across these small Dovo's at a reasonable price and they're perfect for my needs. I now have a pair of Dovo's with me when I'm out stitiching, but if something happens to them (hopefully not!), it won't be the end of the world.

I am new to embroidery and slow sewing, have been 'making do' with small "sewing scissors". Attempting to cut bits of fabric, bad stitches and ripping out whole sections. Decided to invest in small scissors recommended by Mary Corbert. They are easy to hold/handle and the pointed points cut with ease. Worth the money and I love them
