Kumihimo Japanese Braiding



Kumihimo (which means "gathered thread") is a form of braiding developed by the Japanese. The Kumihimo disk is made of sturdy dense foam which holds the threads firmly. Includes basic instructions in English and French for making round, flat, rectangular and square Kumihimo braids. Kumihimo braiding uses a variety of cord and thread materials, including rattail cord, bugtail cord, imitation silk, silk and nylon thread, hemp cord, macramé cord and more.
