Dear Stitching Friends...I designed these twelve Bride's Tree ornaments with silk because I wanted to give you the opportunity to create an heirloom quality collection for that special bride in your life to celebrate her first year of marriage and to have something special to hand down to her children and grand children. But I am also acutely aware of how expensive the silk makes this project. That is why I've made sure to list DMC cotton floss conversions for each Crescent Colours Belle Soie Silk and Hand Dyed Floss color so you may have a more affordable stitching alternative as well. Mill Hill beads are 00479 White Pearl and 03050 Champagne Ice. I appreciate your interest in my designs and your understanding about why I chose silk for this collection. (From Brooke, the designer)
