Weeks Dye Works 1132 Saltwater Taffy is a hand over-dyed six strand cotton floss. The overdye process leaves soft variation along the length of the skein rather than a single flat shade.
Content: 100% Egyptian cotton in six divisible strands.
Skein: 5 yards, supplied as a single uncut length.
Finish: Colorfast. Made in the USA.
It suits counted cross stitch across a wide range of fabric counts, and also handles needlepoint, surface embroidery, and penny rug work. Strip and recombine the strands so the floss lies smoothly in the needle. Because every skein is dyed by hand, dye lots vary. Buy enough for the whole project at one time if the color carries a large area.
