Weeks Dye Works 2198 Ivy is a hand over-dyed six strand cotton floss. The overdye process leaves soft variation along the length of the skein rather than a single flat shade.
Fiber: 100% Egyptian cotton, six strands.
Yardage: 5 yards per skein in one continuous length.
Finish: Colorfast, hand dyed in North Carolina.
Good for counted cross stitch, needlepoint, punch needle, and applique on wool. Stranding the floss before it goes in the needle gives a flatter, more even stitch. Hand dyeing means no two lots match exactly. For larger projects, pick up all the skeins you need in one go.
