The stork scissor is perhaps the most iconic form in the history of embroidery, and this medium gilded pair from Maison Sajou is the classic example. At 4.5 inches (11.4cm), it is the size most beloved by needleworkers across generations — substantial enough to be a genuine tool, and beautiful enough to be a treasured keepsake.
The gilded blades are shaped into the elegant silhouette of a stork in flight, with every feather marking rendered with remarkable fidelity. So as not to interrupt the artistry of the exterior, the Sajou stamp is placed discreetly at the pivot point on the inside of the blades. A small Sajou ribbon adorns one handle; colour may vary.
