Sajou 4.5" Swan Embroidery Scissors — Mother of Pearl Style (Private Collection)

Inspired by the Charles X period, these French-made embroidery scissors feature two graceful swans carved back to back in imitation mother of pearl. The handles are crafted from cellulose acetate with a mother of pearl effect, smooth and lightweight in the hand. A pink and purple tassel with Sajou's signature "S" charm completes the presentation.

Each pair is hand-paired by skilled craftsmen in Nogent, France — a process requiring up to a dozen qualified artisans per pair. Pairing marks engraved on the inside of each blade confirm that both halves have been matched and adjusted together from the very first assembly stage. The blades are then disassembled for individual treatment before final reassembly and finishing.
