WASA Gold Embroidery Scissors 3.5" - Abb. 6
A 3½" gold-plated WASA embroidery scissor (Art. 97, Abb. 6) with hand-and-arm (H+A) gilt finish.
A mid-range pick in the WASA gold embroidery line — sitting between the entry-level Art. 277 and the more elaborate Art. 83 and Art. 1068 models. Practical 3½" working size with hand-and-arm gilt finish, suited to stitchers who want a quality gold-handled Solingen scissor without stepping into the highest-tier price points.
Hand-forged in Solingen, Germany by Waldmin & Saam, founded in 1907 by August Waldmin and Fritz Saam in the legendary "City of Blades." Each pair is hot-forged from carbon steel, tempered, hand-ground, plated, polished, and individually tested for cutting quality — over 80 individual steps from raw steel to finished scissor. Many WASA designs have been in continuous production for more than a century, with the same patterns and the same craftsmanship passed down from father to son through four generations of the family.
