WASA Nickel Embroidery Scissors 3.5" - Abb. 30
A 3½" nickel-plated WASA embroidery scissor (Art. 593, Abb. 30).
The plain Art. 593 is one of WASA's most affordable working embroidery scissors — a no-frills 3½" nickel-plated tool built to the same Solingen forging standards as the more decorative gold models. A practical everyday scissor for counted cross stitch, surface embroidery, hand sewing, and general thread snipping at the workspace.
Hand-forged in Solingen, Germany by Waldmin & Saam, founded in 1907 by August Waldmin and Fritz Saam in the legendary "City of Blades." Each pair is hot-forged from carbon steel, tempered, hand-ground, plated, polished, and individually tested for cutting quality — over 80 individual steps from raw steel to finished scissor. Many WASA designs have been in continuous production for more than a century, with the same patterns and the same craftsmanship passed down from father to son through four generations of the family.
