WASA Nickel Silhouette Scissors 5" - Abb. 31
A 5" nickel-plated WASA silhouette scissor (Art. 325, Abb. 31) with straight blades.
The longest in the WASA Art. 325 silhouette range. The 5" blade length covers more distance per stroke for cutting larger templates, pattern pieces, and broader paper work, while the slim straight profile retains the precision needed for intricate curves and corners. The pick of the three sizes for anyone who works at scale or wants a single silhouette scissor that handles the full range of cutting tasks.
Available from the Art. 325 line in 4", 4½", and 5" lengths.
Hand-forged in Solingen, Germany by Waldmin & Saam, founded in 1907 by August Waldmin and Fritz Saam in the legendary "City of Blades." Each pair is hot-forged from carbon steel, tempered, hand-ground, plated, polished, and individually tested for cutting quality — over 80 individual steps from raw steel to finished scissor. Many WASA designs have been in continuous production for more than a century, with the same patterns and the same craftsmanship passed down from father to son through four generations of the family.
