Weeks Dye Works Dove 1171 is a six strand overdyed cotton floss dyed in small batches. The result is a shade that shifts gently across the skein.
Fiber: Six strand 100% Egyptian cotton.
Length: 5 yards per skein, wound as one continuous piece.
Finish: Colorfast, dyed in North Carolina.
Good for counted cross stitch, needlepoint, punch needle, and applique on wool. Stranding the floss before it goes in the needle gives a flatter, more even stitch. Dye lots differ from batch to batch. If the color covers a lot of ground in your design, buy the full amount together.
