Color 1219 Oak comes from the Weeks Dye Works overdyed cotton line. Each skein is dyed by hand, so the tone moves subtly from one end to the other.
Fiber: 100% Egyptian cotton, six strands.
Yardage: 5 yards per skein in one continuous length.
Finish: Colorfast, hand dyed in North Carolina.
It suits counted cross stitch across a wide range of fabric counts, and also handles needlepoint, surface embroidery, and penny rug work. Strip and recombine the strands so the floss lies smoothly in the needle. Because every skein is dyed by hand, dye lots vary. Buy enough for the whole project at one time if the color carries a large area.
