Weeks Dye Works Palomino 1232 is a six strand overdyed cotton floss dyed in small batches. The result is a shade that shifts gently across the skein.
Fiber: 100% Egyptian cotton, six strand.
Put-up: One 5 yard skein in a single continuous length, not pre-cut.
Finish: Colorfast. Made in the USA.
Strand count is up to you. One or two strands suit finer linens for counted cross stitch, while four to six give full coverage on canvas. The same floss handles surface embroidery, punch needle, and stitching on wool. Hand dyeing means no two lots match exactly. For larger projects, pick up all the skeins you need in one go.
