Olive Branch, number 1258, is part of the Weeks Dye Works hand over-dyed cotton floss range. The variegation is quiet enough to read as one color from a distance and layered up close.
Fiber: 100% Egyptian cotton, six strand.
Put-up: One 5 yard skein in a single continuous length, not pre-cut.
Finish: Colorfast. Made in the USA.
Use it for counted cross stitch on linen or evenweave, needlepoint on canvas, punch needle work, and wool applique. Separating the strands and recombining them before stitching keeps the thread lying flat. Because every skein is dyed by hand, dye lots vary. Buy enough for the whole project at one time if the color carries a large area.
