Weeks Dye Works 1285 Twilight is a hand over-dyed six strand cotton floss. The overdye process leaves soft variation along the length of the skein rather than a single flat shade.
Fiber: 100% Egyptian cotton, six strands.
Yardage: 5 yards per skein in one continuous length.
Finish: Colorfast, hand dyed in North Carolina.
It suits counted cross stitch across a wide range of fabric counts, and also handles needlepoint, surface embroidery, and penny rug work. Strip and recombine the strands so the floss lies smoothly in the needle. Because every skein is dyed by hand, dye lots vary. Buy enough for the whole project at one time if the color carries a large area.
