Rust is color 1326 in the Weeks Dye Works hand over-dyed floss line, a six strand cotton thread with the gentle shifts in tone that overdyeing produces.
Fiber: 100% Egyptian cotton, six strands.
Yardage: 5 yards per skein in one continuous length.
Finish: Colorfast, hand dyed in North Carolina.
Good for counted cross stitch, needlepoint, punch needle, and applique on wool. Stranding the floss before it goes in the needle gives a flatter, more even stitch. Because every skein is dyed by hand, dye lots vary. Buy enough for the whole project at one time if the color carries a large area.
