Weeks Dye Works Clockwork 2230 is a six strand overdyed cotton floss dyed in small batches. The result is a shade that shifts gently across the skein.
Fiber: 100% Egyptian cotton, six strands.
Yardage: 5 yards per skein in one continuous length.
Finish: Colorfast, hand dyed in North Carolina.
Good for counted cross stitch, needlepoint, punch needle, and applique on wool. Stranding the floss before it goes in the needle gives a flatter, more even stitch. Every batch is dyed by hand, so skeins from different lots will not match precisely. Plan the quantity for the whole piece up front.
