Sunset, number 2246, is part of the Weeks Dye Works hand over-dyed cotton floss range. The variegation is quiet enough to read as one color from a distance and layered up close.
Fiber: Six strand 100% Egyptian cotton.
Length: 5 yards per skein, wound as one continuous piece.
Finish: Colorfast, dyed in North Carolina.
It suits counted cross stitch across a wide range of fabric counts, and also handles needlepoint, surface embroidery, and penny rug work. Strip and recombine the strands so the floss lies smoothly in the needle. Because every skein is dyed by hand, dye lots vary. Buy enough for the whole project at one time if the color carries a large area.
