This is Adobe, color 2256 in the Weeks Dye Works overdyed floss line. Hand dyeing gives the thread a depth that flat commercial floss does not carry.
Content: 100% Egyptian cotton in six divisible strands.
Skein: 5 yards, supplied as a single uncut length.
Finish: Colorfast. Made in the USA.
Good for counted cross stitch, needlepoint, punch needle, and applique on wool. Stranding the floss before it goes in the needle gives a flatter, more even stitch. Dye lots differ from batch to batch. If the color covers a lot of ground in your design, buy the full amount together.
