This is Strawberry Field, color 2265 in the Weeks Dye Works overdyed floss line. Hand dyeing gives the thread a depth that flat commercial floss does not carry.
Fiber: 100% Egyptian cotton, six strand.
Put-up: One 5 yard skein in a single continuous length, not pre-cut.
Finish: Colorfast. Made in the USA.
Strand count is up to you. One or two strands suit finer linens for counted cross stitch, while four to six give full coverage on canvas. The same floss handles surface embroidery, punch needle, and stitching on wool. Every batch is dyed by hand, so skeins from different lots will not match precisely. Plan the quantity for the whole piece up front.
