Color 2289 Lavender Rose comes from the Weeks Dye Works overdyed cotton line. Each skein is dyed by hand, so the tone moves subtly from one end to the other.
Fiber: Six strand 100% Egyptian cotton.
Length: 5 yards per skein, wound as one continuous piece.
Finish: Colorfast, dyed in North Carolina.
Strand count is up to you. One or two strands suit finer linens for counted cross stitch, while four to six give full coverage on canvas. The same floss handles surface embroidery, punch needle, and stitching on wool. Because every skein is dyed by hand, dye lots vary. Buy enough for the whole project at one time if the color carries a large area.
