Weeks Dye Works 2334 Lilac is a hand over-dyed six strand cotton floss. The overdye process leaves soft variation along the length of the skein rather than a single flat shade.
Fiber: Six strand 100% Egyptian cotton.
Length: 5 yards per skein, wound as one continuous piece.
Finish: Colorfast, dyed in North Carolina.
It suits counted cross stitch across a wide range of fabric counts, and also handles needlepoint, surface embroidery, and penny rug work. Strip and recombine the strands so the floss lies smoothly in the needle. Dye lots differ from batch to batch. If the color covers a lot of ground in your design, buy the full amount together.
