Calyso, number 4143, is part of the Weeks Dye Works hand over-dyed cotton floss range. The variegation is quiet enough to read as one color from a distance and layered up close.
Fiber: Six strand 100% Egyptian cotton.
Length: 5 yards per skein, wound as one continuous piece.
Finish: Colorfast, dyed in North Carolina.
It suits counted cross stitch across a wide range of fabric counts, and also handles needlepoint, surface embroidery, and penny rug work. Strip and recombine the strands so the floss lies smoothly in the needle. Every batch is dyed by hand, so skeins from different lots will not match precisely. Plan the quantity for the whole piece up front.
